Re: IR conversion to b+w

Enjoy #1 - they look as if they're having a good time! Slightly put off by the bright tree top and think image either needs straightening or tillting more

#2 is OK but doesn't do much for me - comp looks OK but there's something weird going on in the clouds at the back

Re: IR conversion to b+w

Thanks Mark,
That's one of the things I like about IR, is the way light will standout. The sun was straight left at 90 degrees and quite bright. Don't know about the clouds, can't see on my screen any real problems with clouds other than I tried to make a lot of mid tones on that one. Sence I posted these I have changed the way I go about processing b+w's, but still looking for a formal guide line to follow or look for in a composition. I do like really dark pic's, almost to a sin.
