Something about the light over that way. #1 reminds me very much of the week I spent on Great Cumbrae in the summer.

#2 is wonderful, but I would be interested to see what a more letterbox-alike crop would look like. Not sure if it'd work.....

Like the diagonals in the first shot - nice soft color there as well. letterbox crop in the second would be interesting - good idea.

Hi chaps,glad some of you like the look of Bute.Sorry for delay in replying but been busy at work and out on the bike as the weather has been too good to sit in.
Bute is one of the easier islands to get to from the 'central belt' or 'down south' and the main town,Rothesay,has lots of places to eat etc[or buy underpants for instance!.I forgot to pack any!!  ].I did a lot of cycling,wonderfully traffic free and the island is only 15 miles long.I will probably be boring you with some more pics as I get them fettled.YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!
