Not had much time lately to get out with the camera, trying to see what birds I can entice to the back garden with one of these coconut shell thingy's (can't remember the proper name for them). We get magpies crows and pigeons but never any small birds like tits sparrows etc, starling is about the smallest one we get. Hazard of living in town I guess.

You'll get them eventually, we have hordes of starlings and some pigeons and sparrows, but finally after 3 years of feeding, I now have a pair of Chaffinches visiting, some greenfinches, some blue tits and great tits, as well as the occasional visit from the sparrow hawk, so keep feeding. Good colours in the feathers.

Nice shot. My mother in law gets all these birds all day. So I just have to sit in the front garden and shoot away.
