James
Hiya all, I am sure the world is conspiring against me to make sure I get out of bed in the morning
, yesterday radio interview at 8.30 AM followed by a photo shoot. Today a friend wanted taking to the airport at 3.45 AM and tomorrow I have a business network meeting but at least thats at lunchtime.Anyway the shot below was taken yesterday of James. It was his first time in front of the camera and I thought that the reults were fairly good.

Re: James
Not bad at all Gary. i think you could have been helped by a reflector on the left putting a bit of light back into the heavily shadowed area and giving better balance. The pose is fine though the picture looks a bit soft focused. i have a strong feeling this is down to its compression rather than anything else. The original is probably fully sharp, especially knowing your pics!
Good work, hope James likes it :o) Cheers, Rob |

Re: James
Thank you all for the feedback, the intent of this shot was actually for the big contrast between the dark areas and the light. it has some light bounced back into it from the huge softbox on the left which I switched off for this shot and just used the one on the right and hairlight above and behind.
Oh and ladies!!!!! please, behave yourselves. you don't see us fellas going off on a ppphhhhwwwoooaaaar! when the lady pics come out now do you?.......... Oh hang on a minute...... Carry on.
