It would have been a cracker of a shot if he'd have turned his eye to you.

No, he'd just come back in and had to leave his "half a tree" that he was carrying in the garden!!

Beautifully framed shot, but just looking a bit soft there Janice? You really need to get that eye sharp. I did a quick levels adjust, a bit more contrast and sharpened it up.

Great shot - black animals are the very devil to get such detail in the fur.

Don't I know it! We've had a black cat for a couple of months... and I still don't have an acceptable photo of it. The fact that it has taken a dislike to the camera does not help either

I think we need a cross between yours and mine CT!
mine is a bit soft and i think yours is a bit too sharp
