The "Kids"
Practically anyone who has a dog will tell you that they're not a pet - they're part of the family. As such, Fuzz takes her role of 'big sister' to Corran very seriously... except when it came to being outside and playing in the snowfall that we had last week
![]() I had scouted the location the day before since I'd not taken a 'portrait' shot of her in a while, and one of the local parks proved to have all the elements I needed: A sloping hill with a peak that would put her on eye-level with me and some nice pine trees behind the hill to serve as a backdrop. The crisp powder snow made it all the easier to get her into the right spot - I tossed a snowball to the place I needed her to be; she chased it, ate it and then sat down ![]() ![]() Following on from Corran's bathtime shots last week, I thought would be nice to get a few quick shots of once he was nice and clean this week. I used the light coming in through the window since it was nicely diffused by the rainclouds outside. ![]() Hope you enjoy looking at these as much as I enjoyed shooting them ![]() |

Re: The "Kids"
Thanks for the comments, folks - my better half is now pressing me to actively market the 'family portraiture' side of my business... something that I've let slip to the back-burner with all my press and PR work over the last few months
