That's lovely!

It's far too early to have a tree up in our house!! Ours won't be up until the weekend before Christmas I expect.

Yes. given the choice ours would go up a bit later, but this weekend was the last chance we'd have as a family to put it up. (My missus works a lot of weekends) And the kids love it dont they !!

Beautiful pics!! Ours is going up soon.. have to figure out where to move the baby stuff to.. lol! But the older kids are dying to get the tree up!! So hopefully i'll have some pics soon!

A very pretty tree. I love that 2nd shot.

We don't normally put ours up until a couple of days before Christmas Day and it usually comes down fairly sharpish too. This year it'll probably go up on 22nd/23rd and come down on 28th! Although I am sure it will have been knocked down by the dogs and put back up countless times inbetween times

Ours is up.. kids finally bugged me enough to get it up.. lol! Now.. how do I snap a pic of it in the evening so you can tell it's evening.. ? My flash keeps going off so it looks like noon..

Turn the flash off. Usually a button with a lightning strike on it...

coz you've spun the dial to an auto mode. be brave, spin it to A and if anyone so much as looks at that dial again, call the police on them!

Thanks... I tried hitting the flash button.. but flash still kept popping up.. so guess I should have read the manual..

I ended up putting it on P.. and that seemed to do the job! Didn't seem to get a great pic though.. so gonna keep trying.. oh.. and our tree is crooked so it looks like it's gonna topple over..

Good thing only photo's are judged here and not tree's..

Nothing miserable about us Borat's, traditionally in the UK we put Christmas tree and decorations up 12 days before Christmas and take them down 12 days after, ie from 13th Dec to 6th Jan. In practice it generally happens on the closest weekend before the 13th so I am sure many will be doing it this weekend

We only have a small artificial tree as we only have a flat so not a lot of space and I can't have a real one as I am allergic to pine needles. But no worries, we have plenty of other lights and decorations to compensate

Wannabe, don't forget when you take the pic without the flash you will almost certainly need to put your camera on a tripod to hold it steady as the low light will result in a slow shutter speed.

I'll see what I can do about putting a pic up after the weekend, just to keep Borat happy
