Lomography.......
Fuji Reala, Cross-processed, scanned and uploaded. Only PP has been to sharpen and remove the worst of the dust spots/scratches. The camera cost £20!
Enjoy the lo-fi loveliness x ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I don't know anything about the camera these were taken on but the compositions and end results are very refreshing. Some of the shots that are great here definately wouldn't have worked on a normal camera.

Ta for the feedback guys and gals.
Yes they were a lot of fun to take. And that's me in the first pic btw. Doesn't do me justice though ![]() The camera is a fixed focus, fixed aperture (f11) fixed shutter speed (1/100th) job. Made wholly out of plastic with a glass lens. There's a whole raft of these crazy mechanisms on this site http://shop.lomography.com/shop/ JUst for you sammy I surfed through my desk and found a couple of pics! (had to include the one of my desk cos it's relatively clean at the mo! ![]() ![]() ![]() The camera is currently loaded with some rather out of date (may 2000) kodak 800asa c41 film that I found kicking around work, Rest assured, it'll be cp'd and posted here just to annoy everyone x |

That's some crazy madness there!
![]() So how does it cope with exposure if everything about it is fixed? |

errr. it doesn't. It's all down to flash and guesswork. Oh, and loading the correct film for the weather conditions. This was 200asa. It was just about up to the job in the sunshine at westonbirt arboretum, but a few of the ones I took came out too dark to be useable. The ones I took in west-kennet longbarrow were rubbish. far too dark and the flash is too weedy and gets blocked by the lens too!
Generally, sunny day, 100-200iso cloudy day, 400 iso plus flash. Inside 800iso plus flash. And even then you'll be lucky. The other option is to get the friendly staff at boots (and they are) to push the film by as many stops as you think necessary. In case you ave the wrong film on the day. Hope that expains it a bit. It's all fun though. |
