hi everyone took a few more today .thought id share as im gettin a few birds in the garden now " there is a pair of longtailtits" that i am waitin to catch..

Great shot, agree with dabhand that the colours of the bird are a little washed out, a tweak of the saturation would probably sort it out. Love the catchlight in the bird's eye.

Yes, but the crop is a bit close to the tail, and the background is still like looking into the sun.
But better than the first one, for sure |

I would select just the bird and increase the saturation a little, nothing too drastic or you'll get hot pixels like you started to there. And agree about the crop. Also try doding the background to darken it a little.

The second one is a definite improvement though monkey, works really nicely so well done. I love the angle you have captured our little friend here and the catchlight in the eye that adds character.
