Re: lone bluetit.

Nice capture - especially with the OOF framing of the branches You could not have got it better. I find the light background is making the bird seem a bit dull, and maybe it could be lifted a bit, and maybe a crop of some of the upper part of the image?

Re: lone bluetit.

Great shot, agree with dabhand that the colours of the bird are a little washed out, a tweak of the saturation would probably sort it out. Love the catchlight in the bird's eye.

Re: lone bluetit.

Yes, but the crop is a bit close to the tail, and the background is still like looking into the sun.

But better than the first one, for sure

Re: lone bluetit.

I would select just the bird and increase the saturation a little, nothing too drastic or you'll get hot pixels like you started to there. And agree about the crop. Also try doding the background to darken it a little.

Re: lone bluetit.

The second one is a definite improvement though monkey, works really nicely so well done. I love the angle you have captured our little friend here and the catchlight in the eye that adds character.

Great stuff,
Rob

Re: lone bluetit.

Great colors in this bird. Our tits are black and white with just a little brown. Agree with the comments above to make the bird stand out against the bg.
