Lumpini Lizard

These monitor lizards roam freely in Lumpini park Bangkok. They were up to about 2 meters long and there are LOTS !!!! of them. Get too near and they hiss loudly at you. Somehow I cannot imagine these in Regents Park - What would Health and Safety say.

I don't think health and Safety would say anything Anth, they'd be too busy running away screaming for their mummy! <g>

Great shot, only thing lacking is something to give it a bit of scale so we can see just how big it is. I sure wouldn't argue with it, that's for sure LOL
