Marci - update I

What a difference three days makes! We spent some time with her this evening and you can see from these pictures that she is starting to improve already. The conjunctivitis has all but disappeared and her eyes look bright with a bit of spark in them and the ticks have gone. Obviously there is still a long way to go but the early signs are encouraging.

She looks like Plug out of the Bash Street Kids in this one:

excellent stuff! just goes to show what a little time, patience and TLC can do, she would never have got intot he state she was in if it had been given in the first place, on the other hand maybe she would not have a rrived at your door either so it may be a blessing in disguise!

The crew are trying to do the same with Markulous, but we have a long way still to go

ahhh well you know just sometimes there will always be a case that is just beyond hope. and no amount of TLC will make a difference. mind u if he changed his name to Mirakulous??????????????.........

I'm an animal lover (in the nicest possible sense

) and I think that what you're doing with Marci is fantastic. She looks to have loads of character and she's probably totally bewildered that life can be so good.

I think Marci is looking good and hopes must be very high that a great future awaits this lovely horse. May her future be everything her past wasn't!
