MOMA
On a recent whirlwind trip to New York City, I visited the Museum of Modern Art. While the works of art are unquestionably wonderful, I was entranced by the lines of the building.
I hope that you feel the same. Comments and criticism appreciated. skip ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Re: MOMA
I never got to go here when I visited NY. I like the abstract feel of these images Skip, and am intrigued by the shadow (?) on the wall in #1. Is it actually in a reflection on the glass and not on the wall? Did you intend to capture it as it appears? It certaily adds to the image.
I also like the figure on the stairs, and they all look good in mono. Thanks for sharing. |

Re: MOMA
#1 with that reflected person and #3 with the lines of light!
Do think that they all need to be perspective corrected to get the most out of them |

Re: MOMA
I like the first one very much. Right away what hit me was the juxtaposition of the hard, unyielding lines and surfaces and the softness of the humanity reflected in the glass...kind of like a beautiful building can't exist without the folks who envisioned it, built it, care for it, work in it...
Not sure if that was what you were going for LOL, but in my eyes that is what you captured beautifully. I like the way the legs of the person reflected on the farthest right are broken up in the reflection on the windows. Neat. Hm if what Markulous suggested is possible, and you could correct the slight tilt (my lack of post processing skills showing here...), that would help I think. I like 3 too. |

Re: MOMA
Thank you all for your comments.
The figures and some other stuff in #1 are reflections in the glass, and while I wanted that, I really didn't know how they would turn out. I shoot in RAW, so in ACR, it is incredibly easy to straighten the image. And Fi, we all have to grow, right??? Actually, I did other stuff before I became enamored with glamour photography. skip |
