Re: mono or colour...........

Looked at the mono version first, and thought it had to be that. Then scrolled down to the color, and now I'm not sure . I'd say both work very well. Love the colors in the color version.

In my opinion the mono version brings out the castle more, as the FG trees aren't so dominating.

Re: mono or colour...........

Mono for me - perhaps with the sky lifted a touch to give better seperation at the top.

Is it an illusion, or is the tower leaning a bit to the left?

Re: mono or colour...........

its not leaning, but i think it is cos u can see a tiny bit of the side of the tower on the left that it makes it look as if its listing slightly......

Re: mono or colour...........

Can you make the tonal impression of the colour image match the mono one? This will improve the colour shot enormously. Also, I think a reduction in the orange cast on the colour image work work well.

Cheers

Re: mono or colour...........

I think the colour is a little too exagerrated, so I'd say mono. Might take a little off the top as well

Re: mono or colour...........

hmmm thats a strange comment Jack. exagerrated?. i havent done anything to the colour to exagerate it, thats what it looks like! lol

Bob, i was sitting in a beer garden with some muscians ( one of whom is the drummer for the proclaimers) and surrounded by students trust me you DO NOT want to know what they get up to!

Alan used to work in Glasgow Uni for 17 years and if the stories are anything to go by you had better just take her word on it when she says they behave lolol

Re: mono or colour...........

I would say mono, colour version is great too, but if i have to choose one then its mono. But are you sure its not leaning to the left? Great shot anyway
