Mono technique

looks pretty good jack, hope you dont mind i did a pimp, probably nothing like you wanted lol
i selected the walkway with the lasoo tool and used the clarify action set at 20(im using paint shop pro x) then inverted selection and ran noise removal to smooth the sand out a bit, then upped contrast a bit.![]() |

I like the way you have brought out the texture of the wood here, and I think with the smoothing of the sand it does give a very good contrast in textures
