Moody Blue 2
Took on board the coments had another go this time the flower has opened a bit more and have included some more buds to fill out the frame

Re: Moody Blue 2
Sorry Saw, I actually prefer the other one. It isn't anything you've done, just that the flower head on the other shot is sharper and better defined than this one and the blue in this is a touch more 'electric' and doesn't feel quite so balanced.
Only my own feeling, others might think just the opposite I still love the other one.Cheers, Rob |

Re: Moody Blue 2
I like the first one too. I prefer the simplicity of it.

Re: Moody Blue 2
Yup, me too. I think the problems with this are the soft focus of the flower, and the buds, which really don't add much. But a good try.
Photography is a very expensive hobby when you have to buy your wife flowers twice a week. ![]() skip |

Re: Moody Blue 2
Gotta buy a bouquet's worth tomorrow.... my wedding anniversary! Going for a lovely group of roses with a couple of orchids. But hey, she's worth it... and I might even get a shot or two out of them
