Not to sure about the first one. I think the crop might be a little to tight. Your second does work a lot better as feels a bit more relaxed although her right side is looking a little blown, out of the two number two is the better shot IMO.

I actually like these a lot. The eye contact is excellent. I think the first would perhaps work better in portrait orientation.

I would prefer to see all of her chin in the first one and all of the elbow that was cropped out of the second one but that's just my opinion.

Other than that I think they're great photos.

Ha! This is the first time she actually Wanted to pose for me! She is much a tom boy! As for the cropping, none cropped, just the crappy way I was holding my camera!

They look good to me and as Vic you are lucky to get such a model as this

Kaylen's look on the first one is wonderful.

And I agree with Victoria, don't frame out face parts. Give yourself the entire face and if you want to, you can crop later. And portrait orientation would work better, I think.

i really like the second one best, i think it captures her character and she looks like sheis having fun and really relaxed...... perhaps the lighting needs to be evened out just a tad, but great work!
