more seascapes
Evening or more like morning folks (its 3am) i'm back with yet more seascapes. Had a little jaunt along the coast this evening to Portland bill lighthouse near Weymouth and here's some of my spoils.

Re: more seascapes
#1 The detailess black rock rather overwhelms the lovely colour - just a touch of light in there would work better to balance the moving yacht
#2 Dramatic sky but too much black for my taste #3 Lovely shot - worth running through de-noise #4 Nicely exposed - beautiful pastel colours |

Re: more seascapes
beautiful set of images, agree that the first one needs a teeny bit of detail brought back into the rock. 3 is my absolute fav!

Re: more seascapes
Well done Stu - another really great set. I agree with the others about the odd point here and there, but it does not detract from a set that I'd be really pleased with.
#4 fav, and I don't mind #1. Amazing sky in #2 and #3 might benefit from a crop to de-centralise the lighthouse. |

Re: more seascapes
#1 blurry boat ruins it
#2 shows promise but sun needs to be taken down a notch to let the clouds get all the attention #3 is really good. What kind of exposure did you use to get both lighthouse and stars? #4 - meh if gassy long exposure seas are your thing I guess its ok. I really dislike the effect. |
