Re: More time taken with PP
Might be worth tweaking the WB if you shot RAW.
Looks like you had a good day even if you did get wet

Re: More time taken with PP
I'm not a sports photographer, but two things do strike me with these two shots :
The cars look too, well, clean + shiny to me which, coupled with the almost square-on frontal view, doesn't really portray the action of the rally I'd have liked to see the cars from more of a side view, but not square on sideways, if you know what I mean, which would also have brought the kicked-up dirt into better view to add to the feeling of action.I agree with P-E that the WB looks like needing a bit of a tweak. As I say, I'm no expert, but that's my humble opinion ![]() Edit: The other thing that I think would add to the action of the shots is to use a slightly slower shutter speed, to show a bit of blur somewhere in the shot to indicate movement, e.g. the wheels should at least be seen to be in mid-spin; as it is, the cars look stationary because there's no blur anywhere.

Shot no1 is only 1/160 and no2 is 1/200 which is slow for a car coming towards you 1/60

Re: More time taken with PP
Must admit I prefer the final - both the movement (I'm a sucker for motion blur!) and the extra space - and that's despite it being more a***end than frontend!
![]() I don't actually see any processing probs with #1 and #2 either - WB looks OK from here! |
