mountain shots

a few shots from my holiday over the new year. i'm having trouble with the blue tints of the shadows, but the snow appears to be white in the highlights, i have the raw's so im still working on them, but every time the shadows go grey, the clouds go yellow... grrr. time for some masking i think. any advice accepted, i do like the cold feel of them though.

all taken with d70 18-70mm and circ polariser

the view from my window

mont blanc itself

uncropped of the above

thanks for looking

Wow they look gorgeous. Very crisp, and that polarised sky sets them off a treat.

They look really sharp mate. Beautiful to look at

Noah, don't worry about the blue snow in the shadow areas. As long as it is white in direct sunlight then you have it correct

These all look spot on to me

I wouldn't touch them , they look spot on to me . I would have a A2 print of the first one on my wall if I had taken it

Which side of Mont Blanc were you on ? Italy or France ?

Ps You've woken up my Snowboard urges again
