Moving target!

In preparation for the rugby shots I'll be taking later this week, I've been practising photographing a moving target...one of the Lurchers!

I had the camera set exactly as I'd been advised and these are the results. OK, they're not brilliant: there is a bit of noise in one or two (which I will deal with when I get my head round PSP) and I don't think some of them are as sharp as they might be.

Would welcome opinions on my first attempt!

Re: Moving target!

First and last look pretty good to me. A couple look to have a bit of a problem with exposure, probably because of the bright sunshine. You are never going to get tack sharp without a really fast shutter speed or IS. What shutter speed were you using? Anyway, they are still good.

Varies between 1/125 and 1/250. The garden does go from complete shade to brilliant sunshine with no points inbetween!!
