Mustang

Taken earlier this year and found yesterday when backing up and organising. Converted to mono, deepened the blacks and added a bit of grain along with a slight vignette to try and 'age' the image.

Re: Mustang

Excellent image. The mono works very well and it now looks like the type you see in quality aviation photographic books on WW2 aircraft. Cracking detail and my FAV aeroplane.

Lovely balance in the image! Very nice. And the mono and vignette suit so well!

Re: Mustang

An excellent shot benefiting from the great black and white conversion (excellent tones) with the slight vignetting working well to age the shot. I am glad you didn't introduce any noise to further simulate an aged shot as besides it not being needed I feel it would have been a shame to lose any of the incredible detail captured here.

Re: Mustang

Ditto. This is a great B&W conversion and the vignette is just right for it, IMHO. Good work, sah!

Re: Mustang

Excellent work, composition is great and shows this classic plane in all its old glory. I'd love a ride in that thing, though must confess a ride in a spitfire is my ultimate avionic fantasy!

Cheers,
Rob
