My first pictures with my first dslr!
hi, this is my first post, and i thought i would show you some pictures i took on the first day i got my new dslr, spent a while playing round with the settings and am quite pleased with my first efforts.

I hate half a story though - what camera have you bought?  Those are more than OK for your first shots. They're a bit on the orange side, which is OK as long as that's the effect you wanted, but you can get a more natural looking result by setting the white balance for the artificial light. WHITE BALANCE EXPLANATION. |
