My first try with fashion

Marks and Spencer are celebrating George Davies' 25 years in Fashion Design and my local store asked me to do a shoot of their Per Una range. The models are all staff and the brief was to capture the models as much as the clothes - oh and it had to be mono to match the range. Fill-in flash was a nightmare and trying to marshall four women was a handful in itself

(sorry ladies). Anyway thanks for looking and in this instance any comments and critique is welcome.

The one that stands out for me is #2 - excellent.

You must have had fun with #1 and it has also come out well. The others are OK but not quite in the same league IMO.

Never thought about the challenge of shooting a subject(s) behind glass as you did in #1. that must have been very difficult re. lighting and minimizing the reflections.
Did you take any special measures to handle lighting and reflections in that one?

The reflection was an obvious setback so no flash. I quite liked the idea of a bit of reflection but as you can see there was quite a crowd building up behind me. So, nothing special ,just trying to catch the jump.

I like them all, deffinately have a per una feel, fave would say 5.

Did you get any free clothes?

Good shots, in line wit your brief I'd say 3,4,5, and 6 match it very well, 2 is great but not really showing per una so much. 1 i don't really get....there are chopped off bits, they're behind glass...
