excellent shots! I gave up before it went total! lol should have waited. you did an excellent job of capturing it cos it wasnt easy!

Thanks Fi! Yes I was pleased they came out so clear after hearing about the problems other people were having. I waited but it was OK cos I was watching Match of the Day

Thanks Mark. It's that lens , sharp as, especially when I took some earlier pics of the moon at about 8:00, before it became dark and longer exposures were necessary.

lol I was at a 40th Birthday party ( my big sisters) set the tripod up in her back garden..... another coupld photographers were there so for once it was fun to be able to compare settings etc.......... had to tell the 50 off folk at the party to stay away from the tripod or face my wrath............... and most of them knew me so knew better than to go near it! lolol

Hehehe, yes I know that attitude. It's possibly the worst thing anyone can do to touch your tripod on a long exposure Well done for manoeuvering during the party! Oh and happy birthday to your sister!
