Nairn Lights

Switch on of the Nairn Xmas lights last night, didn't know about it but heard it on the radio on the way home so thought I'd stop.

The place was heaving and the police were trying to keep people away from the front of the parade. When they saw the 1D and flash they let me get right in there

Anyway, here's a few but I'd appreciate critical feedback, I know they're not great but wouldn't mind pointers on how to improve them please. Street and people aren't my favourite subjects Oh, and all with the 50mm F1.8 wide open, I'm beginning to appreciate this wee lump.

Re: Nairn Lights

Some good stuff there Dod, like the boy with the glasses, well controlled that one. The weirdo with the sword is well taken too. Only prob with the first one is the big bit of the brass instrument in the top right of pic. Otherwise it would have been fine. Actually, thinking about it, that pic really needed to be shut down a bit as it needed more depth of field than the others.

Anyway, well done for getting in there and grabbing a few decent shots.

Cheers,
Rob :o)

Re: Nairn Lights

Allways good to see a set of "nifty" shots!

3rd and 4th are my favourites, great pose and capture of the pirate and a nice capture of the kids enjoying the fun. TFS
