Here are some images that I took last week at the NRM, York. I really enjoyed the visit, and even my Wife found things of interest like the royal trains that you could get right up to to look in the windows.

These are more a trial of my new Sigma 10-20 zoom, and were all taken HAND HELD at stupid shutter speeds and wide apatures (no tripod), so please, no comments about 'soft' or 'focus'!! All were taken at ISO 400.

I apologise if this question puts you on the spot, but it has to be asked: How come you've got 7 photo's here, uploaded today, when the upload limit is 5?

Thanks for the nice comments, folks. I was really knocked out by this lens.

I uploaded them to an album, not into the general gallery or one of the sections. I have to say that I only realised that there were more than five as I uploaded, so was expecting a rejection by the software, but I'm assuming that as they were put into an album for hosting purposes, and not for general display, it allowed the upload.

Then that's a useful thing to know + which I didn't glean when the restriction was announced - thanks for clarifying that, Graham

In case this is not in accordance with the intention re: daily limit of uploads, then perhaps Steve would like to confirm that this is ok for us all to do, before we all start uploading into albums when we want to upload more than 5 a day?

I know Graham has already replied but his answer is incorrect due to him not being informed by Dave or myself of the reason.

As a member of the Pixalo Crew, Graham benefits from certain privileges...one of which is no limits on the number of uploads he can place in to the gallery every day. Regular members are restricted to 5 as per the announcement.
