New addition ...with 50mm f1.4

The new "addition" at my brother-in-law's was the only subject not refusing to be photographed.
This is also my first try at indoor photo with a Pentax FA 50mm f1.4.
Comments welcome, suggestions appreciated.
I need a lot of practice and my next subjects will be ... humans, this very weekend during a huge anniversary for an 85 years old mommy!
I just realized the photos might be a bit large ... please let me know.

Nice set of pictures, very sharp and well exposed. That looks to be a good lens. The puppy does not seem to be quite as excited about the lens as you are.

The top two pictures are a bit too large to fit totally on my screen in Firefox. The third is fine.

Thanks a bunch Marci! (I cut your name short, sorry).
The little furry lass made the photoshoot an interesting one!

Thanks Dave.
Yes it turned out rather well for a first ... however I certainly goofed big time this weekend using that lens for a family portrait ... on a tripod ... too far ... too wide an aperture .... result: FUZZ!!! After all those years of photography, I even forgot that one needs a smaller aperture for details!!!
I will let you know that those pics will not be shown here, but I kept the RAW files for a good reminder on how I did!

Lovely stuff, great lens that/ I think there is a bit of cyan colour cast on all three .... or you've just got the world's first blue dog <g> Bet he's popular in the household (or she!)

Great stuff,
Rob

Hey Rob!
Well ... seems that she does have a sort of bluish tint in her coat actually. Especially noticeable from up close!
