Re: A new Day
Now this is what I meant, Shadoah, it holds my interest.
Been trying to identify the FG objects...ship masts, tv antennae? I give up. What are they? I sort of get the feeling that I am looking at the earth from outer space here (no, not really the continents and land masses, but the feeling )Good use of fisheye. skip |

Re: A new Day
Cracking shot, it really holds the eye of the viewer, Maybe you should hang this on a wall as I think you'd get a lot of folks stopping to take a long look.
It might also work as a contrasty B&W

Re: A new Day
Yup, that's a much more interesting shot. I had actually looked at it for a good minute or so before I even noticed the burnt out clouds near the bottom, proving that they really don't matter at all. I think I'd have liked just a little but extra around the rims as it were, to give a bit more grounding to the shot but I know what you mean Skip about the feeling of this being looking down onto the earth from orbit.
Fisheye isn't really my thing generally but this does have interesting lines and captures the attention so well done. Rob

Re: A new Day
Nice shot, Shadoah! I've just spent five minutes trying to visulise it rotated 90 degrees anti-clockwise, and my neck hurts!
What do you think of the idea of this rotation? I think it may work better. |
