I thought this one is worth showing. I've had the lens for a while now, but getting to use it is not easy, with 2 toddlers who move around all the time. Well getting sharp pictures is not easy i should say.

Well the shot is certainly worth showing but, as you say it is a bit soft. maybe that's intentional. It looks to be a dark environment. A 50 mm should have coped well with that and given you a verysharp image.

I was very interested in seeing this picture as I have been looking at 50mm lenses. I am wondering Dutchie which one you have?

It is the 50mm 1.8 nikor lens. The photo is very soft and not intentional. Just a lucky shot. I have got a better one, but I can't show that one yet. New pc and not the right software and photo's are still on the old pc.

I was looking through an old folder of 50mm shots, as it was one of my first lenses. It sure made a lot of saves for me and looking back was a good thing. I have the 50mm f1.4 by canon. Your black and white is quite beautiful.

Thank you. Mine is the f1.4 too and I love it. Yes it took a little practice but I would never part with it.
