Nicely exposed night shot - great colors. One suggestion might be to crop off the bottom just to the top of the reflection to give more strength to the main subject - as it is now, it is a bit of a puzzle when first viewed. Also, maybe a slight crop off the right to strengthen the overall composition.

Still, nice as is.

Agree with most - a great shot and the blue window (good title ?) gives a powerful poi !

The cropping idea might just give it the extra pzazz ?

Nice share ... ta !

Lovely picture - best time to take it - last time I tried I was mobbed by gulls and ducks!

A missing nose was expected any minute. I much prefer the night shot. Have to get a late pass for the Blue light area

Good shot.

Gives me the creeps though as I still have a bump on my head from an argument that was lost to that bridge by a boat I was on about 20 years ago.

Thanks for all your comments. The bridge is not in Cambridge but about 12 miles to the West at St.Ives. (This is the St. Ives that the old riddle was based upon, "As I was going to St. Ives, I met a man with seven wives .......)

The building with the blue light was in fact a Chapel which did, actually, have another bit on top but caused it to sink further into the river (R. Great Ouse), so was removed. I think the powers to be thought it would be good to have a blue light inside, the era when blue light was new and cool!

The whole reason for not cropping was to create a "puzzle" feeling. So I guess that bit works

That bridge has been a cause for a number headaches over the years. Even Cromwell had a part of it demoished during the Civil War.... !

here's a couple of photos I took in St Ives, both include the wall around the river leading up to the bridge
