Seeing Dods motocross shot in this post http://www.pixalo.com/community/phot...-day-8582.html I thought I'd share a few of my shots from this weekend.

There was no raceing this weekend in Orkney so a few of the lads and I went oot for a play









I was hoping to go to Elgin this weekend for the racing but thats all fallen through
But there is a fun meeting in Orkney so I'm going along for a race I might even take a few snaps.

I spent £120 on Monday for two spare batterys for my Metz espesialy for Woodside oh well they'll come in handy now winters setting in

I was using my tamron 90mm again and Dass kept coming to close to get a full shot, so I concentrated on the back wheel
Unfortunatly my shadow was in the shot so I added a Filters>Render>Lighting Effects to the shot to achieve the final result.

Love the first one, great framing and composition, I should think the large version is stunning!

Good to see a bit of friendly rivalry on the site Good set of shots & like Colin, really like shot 1

I also think that the first shot is superb. The natural frame between the two sand hills and the ocean and blue sky in the background really allow the biker to become isolated and stand out even though he is at a distance from the camera.

As Hacker has already said, I am sure a large print of that would be quite something

Shame I had to lie in the middle of the track to get it I think the club would have somthing to say if I did it during a race
