Re: Ode to the moon

My kind of shot! Interest, movement, simplicity.

Might be tempted to clone out the ?contrails in the sky (they add to the intrigue but do distract a touch) and maybe burn back the blob (?lens flare) above the dog's head. Shame the torch flame is on a line with the horizon but no big deal.

Great stuff!

Re: Ode to the moon

Now I thought that the 'con trails' were, if fact, put there by Eric. And, dare I say it, the same one at different sizes, and varying length.

As always, a thought-provoking image with much to find in it.

Don't "big him up" too much.
He's obviously a professional (or really talented)

Are the two mutually exclusive?

Re: Ode to the moon

I think I like this but I'm not sure. It's interesting but I can't understand what the marks are in the sky, they look like aliens are coming! It's ok, I like to see different things. I think it is my lack of experience really that I don't understand this photo very much.
