I really don't know, and it's on my curtain, and I'm quite frankly....petrified.

EDIT: And no it doesn't look like it is....

Nice shot Jack I don't see any fringing. Don't know why one leg/antenna is red while the other side is yellow, but it's something to do with colour balance, not fringing methinks

I'd be petrified too
How big is it? Or is that to scale?
Hawk moths are huge (in moth terms), and scare the pants off me (yes, I am a wimp).

I couldn't see any green in the shot so I looked again, harder this time, + that's when I saw the fringing, green fringing, which seems to be bouncing off the cloth, but seeing as the cloth looks white to me ...

Jack, you do seem to have some colour issues with your new lens but as they have to be pointed out to me + I have to really strain to see them, I guess they're not that bad

You're not alone Ali, my late Mom was petrified of them too, 'cos they always seemed to dive-bomb her, + only her

No, and that is about a 75% crop anyway

The original image is about a 40% (not 75, overstatement), crop of the image from camera, so I would expect it to be more noticeable for that reason as well (the fringing, or whatever it is)
