Re: Which one?

For me, the portrait works best. In the landscape, the LHS does not have too much that contributes to the image, where in the portrait, the diagonal is more dominant and leads through the picture better. It also has a better tonal range, the other one is looking flat and in need of a contrast boost.

Two things with the portrait, it could do with a small rotation CW, and the pole, lamp or whatever it is that you are drawn to at the back of the shot goes out of frame.

The shot looks to me to be an assault site. Am I right?

Re: Which one?

The second one. The increased contrast does much better.

A construction site, but hey, whats the difference? Thanx, I also preferred the portrait just wanted to have a second opinion.
