Absolutely nothing done to it apart from levels and resize !

Gotta try manual someday - great shot, they look like a stand up act, great capture of poses.

The one on the left is so sharp it looks like its been pasted in there

Thanks for the comments no choice with the 100-400 and 1.4tc as you lose Auto Focus as soon as you put the TC on (i so need a 1D lol) !

I didn't know you had a 1.4 TC Ian!

On a 20D with a 1.6X crop factor, using the 100-400L, that's giving you the equivalent FOV of an 896mm lens at the long end!

I'd discounted the idea of a converter with a zoom, especially one as extreme as the 100-400L, but that shot doesn't look half bad. Got any other shots from the day?

Thanks for the comments again

Lens was at full zoom, so equivalent of 560mm (or 895mm if you take the 1.6 crop)

Heres a couple more again nothing done to them apart from levels and resize exactly as they came out the camera, this second Otter one is a little soft but i loved the pose

Wish i had left a little more space to the right on this one !

Please FEED ME ! (This is without the TC on)

Had to be a tiger in there

Love the last shot - definately a one off capture, and captured well - great clutching of paws and the expression on its face are all prefect

Some nice shots in there. On the first one the exif says 400mm. Does it not take the TC effect into account or was that just chance?
