One from yesterday - bridal preparation (more shots added)
I did my first solo wedding yesterday and had a great time, really enjoyed the challenge and the day. I had a fantastic couple and family to work with which made it so much easier.
For me, this shot just says it all, mother and daughter sharing a joke whilst getting ready...

Bore away, these are great, just how wedding photography should be, happy, natural and reflecting the emotion of the day.
My brother recently hired a big local photographer for his wedding and wanted informal styles of shots along with groups, but looking at the album, they are still fairly staid, not nearly as good in my eyes as these. We also had to stand around for over 2 1/2 hours whilst he was shooting. |

Bit of a long time, wasn't it! Just so boring for the guests. He also didn't like the fact I'd got my 20D with me, but I wasn't going to not take it to my little brothers wedding.

Wonderful shots Colin. Absolutely flawless exposure; the capturing of the natural light is superb, some of the best I've seen in terms of wedding shots.

Superb shots!
I'd love to see some more Colin...I have never been married, never wanted to and hate going to them - but I love looking at really good wedding photographs! Bizarre I know but there you go!
