Orkney Beach Race Weekend (day1)
B4 I go to bed I thought I would share just one of the pics from today with you.
This is just 1 of 1600ish  thats a lota sorting to do and I'll be taking the same amount tomorrow  bang goes my social life for a week or two  Taken with my Minolta 7D, 28-105mm lens, Metz CL-4D  Tony was kind enough to smile for the camera I'll post some more when i get time. Bed time!  P.S. Was using my new SanDisk Extreme III today, WOW what a card!!! I'll writr a review when I get time. |

 Well its the start of day 2 the Beach Race takes place today. It's going to be a long day  more coffe!!!!Racing starts at 10am (junior school persons) and I'll have to stay till the adults finish at 5pm ish. Then its home for a quick shower and off to the presentation/dance to set up. I've enlisted help this year, my Mum is sorting the pics while I'm at the race (my Dads gona ferry memory cards). And tonight Tinas my assistant at the dance. I just hope it's all worthwile!  I would do it even if there was no money to be made I just love MX to much! |

Erm... what day is it???
I've uploaded the pics from Sundays Beach Race. Not so many this time, saving lots for the photo CD I'm working on. The weather was much better on Sunday and I got a very good hit rate with my shots (60%ish) I'll be uploading the pics of the start sometime tomorrow (hopefuly), there are some real crackers amoungst them I've added my site to the Members Websites section of pixalo (sorry my sites a bit of a mess at the moment, still getting to grips with dreamweaver) |

I had a look around your site Nick and despite (as you say) needing to be tided up there is quite a lot of useful information on there as well as good photography. The content on the whole is impressive

I've tried to make my site usfull to photographers as well as just selling and advertising my work. I just wish I had the time to put all the ideas I have on there
