Over the moon with competition results !!!!
Entered 4 images into my local camera club digital competition (58 images in total) yesterday and managed a 2nd place with this one..
 This one also scored points as well..  as did this one..  I thought this was the weakest image and suprisingly it didn't score any points. The sky lost all its detail when projected onto the screen.  Overall, very happy with my points tally, that should move me up the scoreboard.  Thanks for the critique recently on the first three, you helped me make up my mind which ones to choose.

All good pictures but I am not at all surprised the first one did so well, it's a beautiful portrait, real cracker. You should rightly be proud of your work here Ian.
