Not had any problems with red over-saturation on my Canon cameras.
It's ironic that you decided to go for a mono conversion as black & white film is almost totally insensitive to red light. That should fix your saturation problem. ![]() |

Not sure why you were going to delete the shot - just tweak the saturation downwards.
Do find that flower reds do pose slightly more of a challenge as it's so easy to clip the reds and sRGB is somewhat restricted in colour gamut leading to poorer detail in the web version |

Yes, reds tend to clip more easily, I've had that problem, although haven't shot anything properly red on the D300 yet...
I like the deepness of the tone, it looks sort of unreal. |

I guess I'll let the cat out of the bag,
,,I bought an "Expodisc" last year when I started IR photography so I could maintain a consistent white balance. I now use it all the time for everything,,,I know I know . but that being said my reds look better,![]() |
