Painting with light
I was sat at the PC this morning and looking through the french windows to the living room, this caught my eye.
Wasn't very long before the light changed, I would have liked to have recomposed and got the corner of the wall behind the lantern but within 5 minutes the light beams were half way up the wall! ![]() |

There is definately something about it and I realise you did not have a great deal of time.....But the window and blinds do take a lot away from it. The lantern is lovely but the wood of the table is to light and maybe covered with a cloth or something. Sorry Bachs,
I'm starting to rearange your living room! Maybe I'm just talking crap. It's nice, did I say I liked the lantern. |

Thanks guys.
Anyone else noticed the light early morning and early evening is fantastic this time of year? I'm going to have another go tommorrow morning and pre-plan the composition. The table is actually gold laquered which is why it appears light but I'll try covering it up with something. I'll leave the window out of the shot completely as it does detract and was difficult to stop it burning out on the highlights. BTW a goos way of reducing the effects of highlight burn out is with the Shadow/Highlight tool. Fire it up, pull the shadow slider all the way back so it has no effect, but slide the highlight slider to the right.
