Thats pretty good - talk about a cliche, looks like a Phoenix to me.
Love the way the sparks are travelling in all directions, including full on towards the camera . Hope you had something protecting your lens from all those sparks though So what is/was it, and why were you there? Thanks for sharing |

like that Pete..havent done mine yet, the fireball over the water just didnt happen in th end, time got the better of me, though i will do the shot sometime to see if it actually works, lol

Its a macro shot of a sparkler. I used my extension tubes on my 100-400 so I didn't have to get stupidly close

Great shot Pete - erm, might be a silly q but is the left (or right for that matter !) a mirror image of the other side ?
Just seems a little too identical on each side of c/l ! Or was this intentional to achieve the phoenix effect ? |
