Thats pretty good - talk about a cliche, looks like a Phoenix to me.
 Love the way the sparks are travelling in all directions, including full on towards the camera  . Hope you had something protecting your lens from all those sparks though So what is/was it, and why were you there? Thanks for sharing

like that Pete..havent done mine yet, the fireball over the water just didnt happen in th end, time got the better of me, though i will do the shot sometime to see if it actually works, lol

Its a macro shot of a sparkler. I used my extension tubes on my 100-400 so I didn't have to get stupidly close

Great shot Pete - erm, might be a silly q but is the left (or right for that matter !) a mirror image of the other side ?
Just seems a little too identical on each side of c/l ! Or was this intentional to achieve the phoenix effect ? |
