Re: Pink flower

Hey....welcome

Good first image.

Several points though:

The flower doesn't look absolutely in focus. You can't really pick out the detail on the petals, at least on my screen.

The plant in the lower left is distracting.

The flower should be off-centered....rule of thirds probably works here.

There are some distracting white spots on the flower.

I think that this might work better in a tightly cropped frame to emphasize the angled edges of the petals as they folded down. That is interesting in a flower.

Hope this helps

Re: Pink flower

Ok on my screen the flower is crisp and in focus...LOL
The flower in the left is part of the arrangement from a floral tribute to the american soliders.
The white spots are water droplets....it was a very rainy, and overcast day.
and I will try to recrop it once I get back home.
Thanks for the pointers....We do not learn if we do not ask.

Re: Pink flower

nice shot , personally the only thing i would suggest is get rid of water spots on leaves at ps , i totally like the photo and the angle.

Also just as a point if you are after detail comments regarding your photos , you will get better feedback by placing picture in photo critique forum as this one is only for basic comments not the full detailed comments.

Really like the colour
