Pistol Bush
In forests I prefer to use the flash so I can have a fast shutter speed. But with the flash comes the shadows. I took this one looking up at the flower to reduce the effect of shadow .You can see the underside of the flower and a different view than the normal straight on. Any merit in this shot or does it only appeal to flower freaks like myself.

But the form is unsettling for me because of your angle. It just isn't that recognizable. skip |

thanks Skip. Agree the angle is off putting. I took a few "straight" on but they had a lot of shadow on the upper part of flower. I think a shot with more flowers would be more effective instead of isolating two like I have. cheers
