out walking the dog in the local park the other night found these views quite interesting

looks like your exposure is set pretty good, early evening with a touch of light still hanging on in the sky is always fun, and it seems to give off a good depth as your pictures do..

OK, you've found the light and exposed it correctly,

so I guess you now need to put it to work! On a bed of flowers, a tree, etc!

Then again, just realised you have the perfect subject in your dog!

Nice pictures, particularly the first one. You have demonstrated very well how light makes the picture. I Like the second one too but I think it would be improved slightly if the high-lighted tree was not over exposed. There are ways of avoiding this when processing raw images. I expect you know that anyway.
