Pomegranate

Thought I would stick this up as I often feel I should share more pics here. I spend time looking so it only seems right to put something up, just never seem to to get any chance to shoot for myself at the mo. (violins wailing softly in the background :eyesup: :lol: )

It's just a link as I still can't get a fotopic hosted image to show in a thread.

Wow - nice shot. I was expecting to see the inside but this is just as good - terrific colour.

Nice shot Daz! Kids used to walk around picking the seeds out of those with a pin when I were a lad. I could never understand it.

I like that, its simple but effective.

I would remove some of the white highlites from the top left hand side of the frame though just to keep all of your attention on the centre.

I like it, and as dod says it has a nice 3D quality about it.

I would have placed the flower section on a third myself, but it still works.

I'm likin the fact that the flower looks to be inside the fruit, as if something bad is spilling out!

And don't the old stamen look like dried magic mushrooms? Or is that just me?
