Portrait I think for me although landscape may look good off centre to the left or right a little.......thats just my opinion of course

Portrait methinks, great shot, but I think you should include the entire reflection at the bottom, as just cutting it off a little makes it seem to "stop a bit short", which isn't what we want really. Very good idea and execution though!

Landscape definately!
But then flip it 90 degrees!

I really like it as a portrait shot. The landscape lacks the punch of it.

Thanks all! It's unanimous on the portrait then

Hadn't realised I had cut the bottom of the reflection off and I was trying hard not to! I took quite a few with the candle in different places in the frame so will have another look through.

I'd not thought of removing the reflection on the landscape, so will try that as well
