Psychedelia (more water drops)

Inspired by recent shots posted here of water drops splashing and droplets on CDs etc. I decided to have a go myself.

Interested to know what you make of them (I was pretty chuffed and am off to do some more soon).

None of these have had more processing than a crop, noise reduction and smart sharpen, other than that straight from the camera.

Love the light stringers blowing away from the water drops in #3, looks like a lot of fun as I love to see aperture light in the background of pictures,,,very cool.

Mark, yes it was fun - each shot was a bit of an "adventure" as you don't know how they're going to turn out.

Jack, there's some notes on my site about how I did this, but basically the lighting is just flash. The colours come from using a shiny gold gift bag behind the drips, the light reflects off that in all directions and causes those patterns.

These are really quite something, well done! The shape of the water in #2 is really interesting and the colours are great.
