This type of processing can either be loved or hated.

I actually like this one, the sky area needs a little work. Maybe it needs colouring in black, this will help set of the colours in the cars.

top marks for experimenting.

I agree with Matt 100%, either love or hate and again I love it. Try adding a graduated gray gradient to the sky as this will fit in with the processing and stop the sky grabbing all your attention.

Its almost there, just a little more work and you will have a stunning original photo.

Another lover here! The sky definitely needs making black or at least a much darker colour. Steve's graduated idea is good. The way you'd normally do this is just click in the blank sky area with the magic wand which would apply a mask expanded to the edges of that blank sky, setting the tolerance levels of the tool till it was just right. Unfortunately in this case, that's not going to work as the sky will run into the chrome areas around the windscreen, the top of the neighbouring car, and other areas where you dont want the sky to run into the rest of the picture.

You need to draw a freehand mask bounding the area which you want to be black (or whatever colour) leaving the areas you want to remain white. It's not as difficult as you may think - and then use the fill tool with your selected colour. It's certainly worth persevering with- well done Ken. 8)

Definite progess there Ken. It looks as though you have some feather applied to the mask though which is stopping you getting a sharp edge between the sky and the car. Setting feathering to '0' should cure that.

Sorry, gunna have to go in the hate crowd The flag looks cool, but it just feels fake. Its too hard to make out the shapes of the car too, the wheel and the flag are the only things that stick out for me. Sorry
