On a really large print or canvas it would have to be the 2nd shot. The scale gives an impression of the speed & precision movement of theplanes involved.

On the whole I find shots taken of planes are similar to those of sports cars etc. It's very hard to get across the feeling of speed, or something of real interest vs a static shot. The old smoke trails help greatly with the Arrows

Cheers all I wasn't sure if Id come away with anything to be honest as it was my 1st airshow, these are just a few of about 150 taken on the day, (not processed others yet, lazy git) The 2nd shot is my favourite, I saw them coming in and hit the smoke and I kinda instinctively thought zoom out you idiot.
