I wonder if the beak is a bit too dark, it is getting lost in the background. The eye is great though. I don't know names of birds at all but I am sure this must be in the stork or heron family.

I think the levels are ok, a lot depends on which monitor you are using to see the beak against the dark BG so in my case it looks fine but others might not. The only bit I think could be adjusted a touch is the crop as you have a fair bit of space behind the head and almost none in front of the head which is normally where we would want it. I have tried an adjustment to see what you think. I just took from the back and added to the front and cloned in to help it blend. I haven't done anything to the bird at all.

This is wonderful. A crystal clear sharp image, and his eye is perfect. I do like Robs crop a tad better. It is usually better to give more space to the front of a person or animal.
